On 4 February 2007, 15 families met with representatives of the NSW ICPA State Council at the Warrumbungle Motel where it was decided that we would start a new branch of ICPA in our local area. We named it the Warrumbungle Branch after the local mountain range as we planned to have members from a large area from east of Coonamble, Baradine, Tooraweenah, Coonabarabran, Binnaway, Mendooran, Mullaley, Coolah and Quirindi. We currently have members from all those areas.
