The 2018 Federal Conference will be held in Canberra on Wednesday 1st August and Thursday 2nd August, hosted by a convening committee representing the NSW State Council.  Conference PROGRAM can be found here.

AGENDA MOTIONS have been published here.  SUPPLEMENTARY MOTIONS  can be found at this link.  A total of 85 motions have been lodged and will be debated on Wednesday and Thursday 1&2 August.

The revised ICPA (Aust) CONSTITUTION and BY-LAWS are now available on the ICPA website for viewing.  These documents will be voted upon at the Annual General Meeting to be held at the QT Canberra, Thursday 2nd August, 8.30am.

At the 2017 Federal Conference a motion was passed asking ICPA (Aust) trial “conjoined motions” in an effort to streamline the motion process at Federal Conferences. A document has been created explaining how the conjoined motions will be implemented at the 2018 Conference which can be found here.


ThANZAC Halle conference will take place at the QT Hotel in Canberra City, with the conference dinner in the amazing setting of the War Memorial's Anzac Hall

A short tour of the Memorial is scheduled prior to the dinner, ensuring a memorable evening.

A Partners’ Tour will take place on Wednesday 1st August from 9.00 till 4.00pm.  This will be a great opportunity to explore some of Canberra’s iconic locations, with great lunch and coffee stops! A view from the best lookout in the capital will begin your journey, which will include visits to the Arboretum, Parliament House and other local attractions.

Your tour guide is a congenial local with heaps of knowledge, who will entertain and inform you.

Cost: approximately $40 (will depend on final numbers)

Canberra is easily accessible by air and road and we hope that many  delegates will be able to extend their visit prior or post conference to experience some of the many attractions in the region.... such as the Snowy Mountains and cold region vineyards and breweries
